Zoos in the Ruhr Metropolis

The Ruhr would not be the Ruhr if it didn’t have more than one zoo. Spacious areas offer the opportunity to view exotic animals in fairly acceptable habits. Three zoos across the region offer city dwellers numerous and perhaps necessary insights to lifeforms on our planet.

Much has changed over recent years in an attempt to provide those creatures in captivity a semblance of their natural environments. Approve or not, programmes in various zoos across the globe are able to aid in the preservation of some endangered species.
