The Ruhr Metropolis has long been a centre of thriving industry and commerce as well as trade fairs. Thus the demand for places to sleep over has traditionally been strong. Besides the top of the range, the pull of a strong economy has created demand for a wide selection of four and three star hotels for business travellers as well as long lease and cosy guesthouses.
