EXHIBITIONS IN RUHR
Inspiring contemporary and period works of art are shown at exhibitions running in numerous cultural institutions in the Ruhr Metropolis at most times throughout the year.
The landscape of art venues and museums across the Ruhr Metropolis is vast. Thus, magnificent works of art are shown at well presented exhibitions at most times throughout the year. These are financed by the State of NRW, other patrons and locally.
Iconic greats include Museum Folkwang, the Red Dot Design Museum at Stiftung Zollverein, Gasometer Oberhausen, Dortmunder U, the Art Museums of Gelsenkirchen and Mülheim, Ruhr Museum as well as curiosities such as the Cookery, Brewery and German Football museums.
These and other diverse cultural institutions regularly instigate well conceived and meticulously presented selections of some their fine pieces. Furthermore, periodic exhibits reveal a leading depth of conceptual understanding. This, paired with magnificent research and comprehensive insight, reveals a delight for both the eye and the intellect of enthusiasts.
Curators also benefit from an international reputation, attracting stunning works from the finest and sometimes rarest collections from across the globe.
