JAZZ MUSIC IN RUHR
Many Germans adore jazz and many of those can become fanatical, creating enthusiastic audiences in clubs and at several annual events in the Ruhr Metropolis.
The styles of music packed under the label of jazz is quite extraordinary with most genres as well as blues able to be heard somewhere at sometime.
DOMICIL
Domicil offers expat enthusiasts terrific opportunities to experience jazz, blues and contemporary music. This is made possible through the generous support of volunteers.
They have been going strong since 1969. Today’s venue is located in the heart of Dortmund to the east of the Ruhr Metropolis. Intimacy is key, whether in the wlcoming bar or attending any of up to three hundred gigs throughout the year.
The Ruhr metropolis offers wide swathes of woodlands, dozens of rivers as well as over fifty cities, towns, villages and municipalities. Each is unique. Many urbanisations offer a lively atmosphere just waiting to be experienced by expats.
