IS Ruhr is located in Essen in the heart of the Ruhr Metropolis. Here children of kindergarten age between three and six years benefit from a stimulating, engaging and challenging environment. IS Ruhr believe that inquiry is a powerful tool to learn about the world around us.

Their early years curriculum balances learning through play, directed teacher guidance and the provision of carefully planned learning experiences. Classes are taught in English.
