Every year this annual spectacle traditionally is held during the latter summer months. \nDuring early evening people gather in the Westfalenpark to experience live music\, children’s firework displays and various entertainment acts. The light festival offers a magnificent evening full of wonder for the whole family. \nStrings of lights some six kilometres long as well as almost one hundred thousand lights and lamps of varying shapes and sizes form the major attractions of the event. And\, as darkness arrives\, a climax in the form of a firework display accompanied by synchronised music wraps up an intense evening.
